Earlier this year, Covid-19 struck the UK and we went into lock-down. The schools closed so I embarked upon a small project with my eleven year old son as part of his continued home education.
The best investment you can make is in your own education …
Okay, so a new post is now long overdue. Things have been busy recently what with the summer holidays still a fresh (but fading fast) memory and all sorts of other things demanding my time.
The time had come to cast this bad boy!
Thanks to my son’s rifle club, I now have a reliable source of raw material in the form of brass bullet casings.
I’ve been keen to make this one of my first casting projects and decided to allow my imagination a little creative freedom to boot.
So, further to my previous shopping list post, I have constructed some additional stuff.
So, I now have the furnace which is great, but I also need a few other crucial items before I can begin casting. Here’s the list …
